This package combines the required security guard training courses with assistance completing the application process, making it easier to complete the required steps in one place.

What’s Included:

• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course
Complete the required introductory security guard training before beginning work as a security guard.

• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Course
Complete the required 16-Hour On-the-Job Training as part of the New York State security guard training requirements.

• Security Guard Application Assistance
SOA will assist you with completing the required security guard application paperwork and help make sure your documents are properly prepared for submission.

• Class Scheduling Support
Choose from available class dates and select the training option that works best for your schedule.

This package is intended for new applicants. Students who already hold a New York State Security Guard License and only need annual training should select the 8-Hour Annual Training course instead.
